Feng Shui: Feng Shui Mastery For Home, Health, and Happiness by Kerry Elise
Until today, there are still a lot of people who truly believe that Feng Shui can make life much greater. In the Western side and other parts of the world, several individuals utilize Feng Shui to invite balance and harmony whether at home, in their business establishments, and in their office. As a matter of fact, there are even some people who do Feng Shui to ensure that their chosen dietary plan will work.
There are people who consider Feng Shui as a miracle cure. Feng Shui is primarily based on the concept of Qi or Chi energy. This practice aims to balance this energy. The belief in Qi energy originates from Taoism.
Based on the belief of the Chinese people, Feng Shui is a philosophical system that can harmonize the existence of human with the environment. The literal meaning of Feng Shui is wind-water and it is a cultural shorthand that originated from now non-existing Classic of Burial, which is documented in the Gou Pu’s commentary.
This is also among the Five Arts of Chinese Metaphysics, whereby it is noted as physiognomy- the act of observing the appearances using calculations and formulas. This practice involves the building, in metamorphic terms, of the so-called invisible forces. These invisible forces are what bind the man, Earth, and Universe, and they’re referred to as Qi or Chi energy.
In the past, Feng Shui was vastly utilized in establishing orient buildings- in majority of cases, spiritually significant structures, like tombs, but it is also used in building other forms of structures, such as dwellings- in an auspicious way. Depending on the Feng Shui style being utilized, auspicious sites can be ascertained by basing them to local elements or features, like stars, a compass or water.
In the 1960s, the Feng Shui Practice was subdued in mainland China when the Cultural Revolution sparked, but since that time, it gained fame. At present, people have mix reactions regarding Feng Shui. There are some who say that some of the concepts used in Feng Shui are quite rational.
Feng Shui can be used in the home, office, or anywhere you decide go! If you’d like to find out how to utilize Feng Shui in your life, then be sure to check out this book!
