Astronomy and Astrophysics in Jyotish (Astrology) and Hindu Culture by Y V Subba Rao

The objective of the book “Astronomy and Astrophysics in Astrology and Hindu Culture” is to dispel the wrong notion of the educated unbelievers that Astrology is a “Nationalistic Pseudoscience”. This very design of the subject of Astrology and the genesis of its principles are strictly based on Astronomy and Astrophysics, two latest scientific disciplines, very much latent in “Jyotish”, one of the six Vedaangas and ancillary to the ageless Vedas belonging to Hinduism. The book also explains that the rituals being performed in Hindu Religion have a strong basis of Science to prove the objective of life of a ‘Human Being’, his birth, death, and beyond leading to liberation. Hinduism holds that even souls do evolve and physical transformation of spiritual life into transcendental consciousness which ultimately leads to enlightenment and liberation in tune with Einstein’s Theory of Special Relativity, E=MC^2 is also explained. The book is in English for wider readership coverage.
