Chamatkar Chintamani of Bhatt Narayana by S S Sareen

Bhatt Narayana has written his Chamatkara Chintamani in 108 Shlokas which he claims to have collected out of an ocean of four lac Jyoti Shastras. These are 9 Planets and 12 houses. Hence the 108 Sutras. Each Sutra or Shloka reads the influence of a particular Planet in a particular house. For example, the 1st Bhava Phal is that of the Sun in the First House. He has not made any reference of the 12 Signs from Aries to Pisces which might rise in the same house in different births.

Jataka Alankara by S S Sareen

This Jataka Alankara by Shri Ganesh Kavi is a very concise compilation of Hindu Predictive Astrology in one hundred and ten Verses. The Adhyaya on Bhava Vichar gives the effects of the 12 Houses denoting their respective characteristics. The one on Yogas has given planetary combinations which are familiar but their effects are unknown to the reader & the scholars Similarly the verses in the chapters on Visha Kanya, Ayurdaya and the position of the Lord of the Lagna in each of the 12 Bhavas are not the common Slokas normally found in books of Astrology.

Jataka Desh Marga by S S Sareen

Jatakadesamarga is an outstanding work on Astrology and the author, Podumanai Chomadiri known as Somayaji of Poduhouse has drawn from such authorities on Astrology as the writers of Brihat Jataka, Laghu Jataka, Jatakaparijata Phaladeepika, Yavan Jataka Silpiratna, Prasnamarga, Saravali, Naradsamhita etc. He has shown his master mind in the Adhyayas on Bhavavichara, Gunapinda, Ashtakavarga, Bhinnashtakavarga, Bharyavichara and Anukoolya. The last mentioned is a matchless study and is rarely found in the literature on Astrology. A study of these Adhyayas have tempted me to translate this book into English. There is no equal to this work.
